Seasonal Cleansing
Seasonal Detoxification

Natural Methods of Detoxification

Seasonal changes do not only affect your mood but they also create changes to your health. When the weather changes, your body is weakened and thus serious infections and parasites are easier to catch.
The impact of climate changes affects health according to region, your overall health and people's exposure to these changes as well as their ability to adapt to that change. Furthermore, humidity and wind factors play crucial roles in making a person sick.

Though herbs and acupuncture can protect your body, cleansing and detoxification are also great preventive methods. Sudden changes in temperatures experienced due to artificial or natural changes (outside or inside) can also be very harmful at times because they weaken your immune system. The various seasons affect each individual differently.
Spring is considered to be an ideal season for cleansing and detoxification of the body.

When toxins enter the human body by way of the digestive system, they get easily absorbed and thus enter into the blood stream. A few of these toxins get eliminated via sweat but many stay within your system. The accumulation of toxins may be very subtle yet may also lead to serious health crises such as cancer. In many cases, these toxins are not even detected in general blood tests .

Spring is considered to be an ideal season for cleansing and detoxification of the body.

Main Causes of Toxicity in the Body

There are external and internal factors that cause toxins to accumulate in the human body. Inhalation of polluted air from factory buildings and smoking can be very toxic. To help remove these toxins from the body you can detox, thus changing your lifestyle and diet. Drug use, environmental exposure and diet are the three main components that contribute to toxins that get accumulated in the body causing serious infections. Natural detoxification is also a good idea and can be done through fasting. Respiratory, gastrointestinal, dermal, lymphatic and urinary systems are the human systems which are involved in detoxification.

Natural Detox Mechanism & Nutrition

Did you know that the human body has been programmed to undergo toxic attacks at a low level and that genetic damage and potential carcinogens can all be detoxified by our bodies? Dietary antioxidants, detoxification, cellular shedding and repair are protective mechanisms of the human body. When fed with proper fiber and water, detoxification works even better for humans and helps flush out the undesirable, harmful toxins from the body. Water is the best detoxifying agent and helps in the cleansing of skin and kidneys and also increases sweating when exercising. Dehydration is a very common problem that is found in most of us that can lead to various diseases. When you are thirsty it is already too late. It means you are dehydrated.

Exercising is another good method of getting rid of toxins as they are removed when the sweat is released. Of course, remember that the raw-food diet is another good method of detoxification, it is a vibrant and pure life style. Various combinations of juices as well as living and raw foods can help in colon, kidney, liver and skin cleansing. Adding sprouts to your diet is also a good move.

Don't be fooled. Even if you eat a well-balanced raw food diet you still need to detox. Everyone needs to give their body a good clean once in a while. It is just pure logic. For example, even if you keep your house very neat and tidy, Spring cleaning is a must to get into those corners you might have missed and if you don't dust and dirt will accumulate. This example applies to your body as well.

Even though detoxification is always beneficial, it is always better to consult a doctor before initiating any such change in diet because detoxing is not recommended for some conditions and during pregnancy.
