When cleansing your body of toxins, you are cleansing the inside of your body. You cleanse your liver, colon, kidneys, gallbladder, lymph nodes, bladder, lungs, blood, and skin. You also get rid of other invaders that are not supposed to be within your body. It is true that detoxification is something that the body does every single day, but sometimes it needs a little help because we are exposed to toxins every single day. Those toxins are in the air we breathe, the food we eat, in things we touch, and so on.
When natural detoxification occurs, the body cleans itself through bowel movements; sweating; urination; and liver, lymph, and kidney filtration. Unfortunately, in this very toxic world, these natural processes are very easily overwhelmed. This causes the body to store toxins in cells, tissues, and muscles, which mean the body is not able to naturally process them.
The Internal Benefits
The internal benefits very easily overflow to the external. However, the internal benefits can be felt very easily. Those benefits include:
- The ability to think more clearly
- The ability to be more creative and to make decisions that are difficult
- Improvement in memory
- An increased feeling of joy
- A sense of well-being that is significantly improved
- Mood swings are less frequent and mood seems more stabilized
- Thought patterns are improved
- The body feels more energetic
These benefits are physically felt all over the body because a person feels as if they’re ready to face the world head-on when they have the mental clarity to do so. This mental clarity very easily finds its way to the physical part of a person's being. It gives a feeling of euphoria because the internal organs are clean.
The Physical and External Benefits
The external benefits are what everyone else sees. They will notice that there is a difference in the individuals who undergo an internal cleansing, which is why this is a practice that many rely on to keep themselves grounded. The external benefits include:
- An improved appearance
- Better vitality
- External energy
- Overall improved health that is visible from the outside
- Better digestion, which results in less stomach issues
- No more toxic waste within the muscles, tissues, and cells
- The response to stress is much improved
- Better flexibility
- A stronger immune system
- No more unwanted substances aside from toxins
- Sinuses are cleared and there is no congestion in the lungs
- Healthy bacteria is restored
The benefits are quite evident when they occur, which is even more reason to embark upon an internal cleansing.
There are, however, individuals who should not do an internal cleansing because they could do more harm than good. These individuals include mothers who are pregnant or nursing; any individuals with an acute infection; someone who has just undergone surgery, any kind of medical procedure, or therapy; and anyone who has experienced any kind of deficiencies or weaknesses.
