A Natural Way of Life

Observing a Natural Way of Life

When we start on the path of raw foodism, we start to not only understand the laws of nature and its reactions within ourselves, but   we also start to understand that beyond sensory food, human beings are also constantly absorbing radiation waves from their surroundings. Whether they be near, or far, or even from the distances of hundreds of billions of light years away. Indeed this also includes various cosmic rays that we absorb from the surface of our bodies which we transmit into electro – magnetic waves that are then circulated all throughout our bodies. They charge our trillions of cells, glands and organs, and thus our entire body. By this charge we move, we digest, we breathe, we discharge and we think. Therefore, adopting raw food is not only about the principles of uncooking and a balanced diet, but also about the awareness we have for our surroundings. When we think of rawfoodism we too often limit ourselves to food. But what other aspects does this philosophy or way of being touch? Raw food does not limit itself to what you put itnto your mouth. Being a rawfoodist stretches far beyond this…it is a way of life. So let's see how this lifestyle affects other aspects of our lives.

Clothes

When we start adopting the raw food diet, we begin to recover our natural sensitivity, and it is a good idea to start avoiding synthetic unnatural clothing, especially if it directly touches the surface of the body. Vegetable quality materials – cotton and jute, as well as silk and other biological fabrics – should be your first choice. Natural materials also allow your skin to breathe and perspire naturally. The electromagnetic charge working throughout the body is also smoothly activated with vegetable fabrics. Our taste in color and ornaments also changes towards those, which are more gentle and graceful. We seem to start appreciating simplicity in beauty. Practically speaking, due to the decreased consumption of excessive calories, fat, and refined products, garments can be kept in wearing condition for a longer period. Health and beauty become luminous through simple, natural and graceful clothing. Basically, raw food will help you look your best without the excess. You don't need too many accessories of fancy clothes because you will look good , naturally, in everything!

Dwelling

As a result of the "raw food way of eating", which brings us closer to nature, we begin to appreciate more natural materials such as wood and stone. Natural materials tend to make the atmosphere softer and quieter and nourish a peaceful mind, deep thought, and clear ideas. For our furniture, desk, cabinets, closets and all other objects we use in daily life, vegetable quality materials are preferred over animal and synthetic quality materials. In places like Japan, people use tatami for bedroom floors, which is very versatile in use. It is made out of bamboo thus it keeps cool in summer and dry and warm in the winter. It keeps humidity away thus protecting your furniture and if you are sleeping on a futon it keeps your body nice and dry.

The simpler we keep our surroundings the better for our mind,. The color of walls and curtains should also be gentle, direct light should be avoided, calmer gentle light is recommended. In addition to this, keeping a clean orderly house is like keeping balanced and vibrant shakras.
