Be Ready for Autumn!

In autumn many people experience stress due to the shortening of days and the increasing demands of a modern lifestyle. Unfortunately, the adverse effects of stress get mirrored through your face, body and hair. So this is the perfect time to revitalize and rejuvinate your hair, skin and make-up for autumn.

Rejuvenate the Skin

It is rightly said that our skin reflects our inner health. So, you should take care of your skin by using sunscreen, facial scrubs, cleansers, toners and moisturizers. Remember to exfoliate your skin every week or two because it brings back the lost natural glow by getting rid of the dead skin thus making it look radiant.

Natural Beauty Treatments

Along with the products available on the market, these products can be made in the comfort of your own home. Following are some of the top rated formulas with which you can pamper yourself with and find that skin you have always longed for:

  • Grapes can do wonders for dry skin. Try this remedy for moisture. Mix 3 tsp of flaxseed oil, 50 gr vegetable oil, 50 gr of femented saki and juice of 1 lemon. Then add 1 cup of fresh grape juice to this mixture and cool it in the refrigerator for 2-3 hrs. Apply it on your face and get lovely skin.
  • Sea-buckthorn is great for all skin types. Take 2 tbsp of sea-buckthorn berries and add to 2 glasses of warm water. Now keep the mixture for 24 hours and then add 2 tbsp of femented saki to it. Apply this natural cleanser twice a day to exfoliate the skin.
  • Say goodbye to all those dear face washes and soaps, instead apply green powder paste for cleaning your face. This will help bring back the softness and suppleness of your skin.
  • Tomato is a treasure house of nutrients that is great for oily skin, so add 5-10 drops of lemon juice to one tbsp of tomato juice. Apply this mixture on your face, neck and body for 15 minutes and rinse. This homemade cleansing lotion is a key to the problems of dull and lifeless skin.
  • For total body make a scrub using 1 cup of raw honey, 2 freshly chopped tomatoes and 1/2 avocado. Mix well and evenly apply on the body and face, lightly massage to exfoliate the skin from dead layer of cells that get accumulated due to pollution. Rinse with water.
  • Take one mashed banana and add it to 1 tbsp of honey and sandalwood. Apply this all over your body and face, massage and rinse for soft and glistening skin.
