Let's talk about the science of raw food, and its relation to the vibrations that radiate throughout our bodies. In order to grasp fully how raw food acts to improves our bodies and in turn, our lives, it is important that you have an understanding of the various microscopic components of our bodies and how those components work together to produce our health and vitality, as well as how the energy that we use every day is affected by the chemical structures that support our body. When we talk about the fundamental chemical structures that build everything within us, we are of course talking about the great double helix: DNA. You should learn more about how exactly DNA is affected by the food that we eat, and what incorporating raw food into your diet can do to have a major impact on your health and wellbeing, and the optimal functioning of your body.
What is DNA
As any junior high student can tell you, DNA stands for deoxyribonucleic acid, and this element often called the blueprint, or recipe, as the information center for our genetic code. As such, its role in defining our body's makeup and behaviors is especially significant. Looking first at DNA in chemical terms, it is a long polymer chain made up of smaller simple units (nucleotides.) The double helix shape is bonded together by sugars and phosphate groups. The DNA is compacted and organized into chromosomes, which more specifically shape the appearance and behavior of our body's many components.
Enzymes and Their Roll within the DNA
Enzymes play an important role in the DNA process. First of all, you need to realize that the double helix composition of DNA is not fixed, but it can twist and become more or less coiled during the course of different chemical processes. As it is more tightly or loosely wound, the bases that are connected are affected, and can even come apart more easily. In the natural state of DNA, this coiling is introduced by enzymes called topoisomerases. These enzymes offer a slight negative supercoiling that offset the twisting stresses caused by transcription and DNA replication, two natural and necessary processes of DNA. Another enzyme, DNA polymerase, works to recreate each strand of a separated helix structure in order so that the correct bases can be made by the complementary base pairing process and joined to the original single strand to complete DNA replication, producing an exact copy of the original double helix.
Healthy DNA
Other proteins are equally crucial, as they work to bind DNA into compact and organized units called chromatins. Proteins are used to bind and bend DNA into exact forms, and each type of protein has a specific role to play in the formation, manipulation and interactions of healthy DNA. Research has proven that stacking within the DNA double helix has produced the fastest electron-transfer kinetics in current knowledge. As a result, the ability of DNA to store and transmit energy has been proven, as well as the ability of DNA to act as an antenna for other forms of subtle energy (Rein, “DNA As a Detector of Subtle Energies,” 1994.)
The Natural Chemicals and Their Impact on Our DNA
The way in which we nourish our body with the natural chemicals that it needs to produce the processes of life has a direct impact on the existence of the correct proteins, including enzymes, in their ideal form and proportions in our bodies. Without the presence of very specific proteins in minimum amounts, we are unintentionally hindering the ability of our DNA to form and interact ideally, which reduces the quality and amount of the energy vibrations that are constantly transmitted. What is the significance of using raw food to provide these vital components? The heating of food (over 118 degrees) changes the structure of enzymes, rendering them incapable of doing the jobs for which they were intended. Most individuals who receive their nutrition from enzyme-dead food (food that has been cooked) are forced to use precious metabolic energy creating their own enzymes to aid with digestion and the other processes for which enzymes are needed.
Living in an Ideal Way of Raw Food
With the scientific information that is at our disposal today, it is difficult, if not impossible, to deny the impact that eating enzyme deficient cooked food has on our body, beginning with the DNA level and radiating into many facets of our daily living. Use raw food as it was intended, to perfect the harmony of our bodies and allow our selves to continue on with the work of living in an ideal way.
