Raw Food Pregnancy
Pregnancy No-Nos

You are very conscientious about what you’re eating while you’re pregnant because you want your baby to be healthy and strong. However, are there some things you should avoid? It's certainly worthwhile to give some thought to that. All the efforts you’re making to assure a healthy pregnancy can be defeated by a bad choice. For example, we all know nowadays that eliminating alcohol from our lives is wise during this time. We see reminders about that just about everywhere we turn. However, you should also limit how much salt you get in your diet as well as how much caffeine. But according to the Baby Center (www.babycenter.com), there are many herbs that can have unintended and very harmful consequences. Many of these are substances we consider “natural.” However, even though natural, they can have disastrous effects if you are pregnant. They can cross into the placenta, for example.

Concluding Thoughts

What it comes down to, actually, is using common sense. In choosing raw foods, just be sure you know where they come from. Try to eat organic as much as possible, a good plan even when you’re not pregnant.
