*Pistachios are kernels of the fruit of the tree Pistacia vera.

*Also know as ‘Smiling nut’ in Iran and ‘Happy nut’ in China.

*Pistachios are green in color and the shell is half opened, so they do not need to be shelled.

*These are believed by some to be the oldest edible nuts on earth, and belong to the same family as cashew nuts.

*They have a fresh delicious taste.

*Pistachios are an entirely natural and healthy snack, filling but not fatty.

*Pistachios are excellent keepers, and if stored properly in clean, dry airtight containers and in a cool dry place, they keep well for up to a year. Can be frozen.

*Number of nuts per serving is 49.

Are they raw?
